Jason at Collecting Candy is what I'd consider a food historian. He basically owns every food package known to man and uploaded 90% of the highest quality vintage food advertisements on the internet. If you research any fun food product of the last 50 years, you're bound to run into him somewhere along the way. Visit his awesome feed on Instagram too: @collectingcandy

This website will trigger food flashbacks you didn't even know still occupied space in your memory. See below!
This website is unbelievable. If you ever thought you were losing your mind trying to remember the name of a breakfast item no longer in existence, this is your go to website.

Being one of the very first websites I spent my internet days on, I have to place Dinosaur Dracula at the very top of my list. Formerly known as X-Entertainment, (a blog I'm almost certain I discovered after Asking Jeeves about "Planters PB Crisps"), Matt's website gave many socially awkward teens in the early 2000's a place to forget the world and pine for the food, toys and entertainment we grew up with. He felt relatable and his articles were comfort I needed at the time. Since then, he has managed to create what feels like an endless archive of content which includes lists of dead websites, an annual halloween countdown, retro recipes, commercials, toys and plenty more.

From the beginning, he has drenched his websites in vibrant images that stir up nostalgia and delicious food photography. I could even go as far as saying he was the originator of internet food porn. His articles are always written well, managing to encapsulate childlike wonder and innocence with a dry humor any cynic can relate to.
Prepared to be sucked in!
